Sel De Mer Hotel & Suites, Da Nang

My experience at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were great, with a balcony offering a nice touch, but unfortunately, they were not soundproofed well, so I could hear a lot of noise from nearby establishments like a karaoke bar and the elevator. The service was top-notch, especially at the breakfast restaurant, where they even went the extra mile to cater to my Japanese preferences. However, when it came to currency exchange and transfers, they were not as helpful as expected. The location was convenient, being just in front of the beach and offering nice restaurant options nearby. However, the lack of 24-hour convenience shops was a downside. The dining experience was average with limited choices, and the facilities overall were satisfactory. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel's location is great, allowing quick access to the sea in just 2 minutes. The rooms are fairly clean but unfortunately overlook a Karaoke bar with loud music until 10 pm, leading to disruptive mornings. The service is extremely helpful, especially in the breakfast restaurant that kindly provided miso soup. However, assistance with currency exchange and transfers was lacking. The dining experience offers a nice variety of continental and Asian options. The hotel's proximity to the beach is a major plus, although the breakfast selection mostly caters to Asian tastes.
